Hang Invoice

Hang Invoice keeps the business records you create on your device. The production app connects to advertising services, and this policy explains that limited online processing as well as your choices.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Hang Invoice (“Hang Invoice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Hang Invoice Android application. The app is designed for adults who create invoices and related business documents.

Hang Invoice does not require an account. Its core invoicing features do not use a Hang Invoice server, cloud synchronization, or cloud backup. However, production versions display advertising and connect to third-party advertising and consent services as described below.

This policy does not control other applications or services you choose when you share or save a PDF, nor websites opened from advertisements or links.

2. Information stored locally

The app stores the information you enter or import in private app storage on your Android device so it can provide its invoicing features. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

  • Business information: business name, address, phone number, email address, currency, tax settings, and an imported business logo.
  • Customer information: names, company names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, tax identifiers, and notes.
  • Document information: invoices, estimates, quotes, line items, prices, quantities, discounts, taxes, references, notes, terms, document dates, statuses, and numbering information.
  • Payment records: payment amounts, dates, and the payment method you record. The app does not process card or bank credentials.
  • Preferences: appearance, language, template, and consent choices saved on the device.
We do not intentionally send your business records, customer records, document contents, payment records, or business logo to AppLovin, Google UMP, or our own server.

You are responsible for having an appropriate reason and any permission required to enter another person's information into the app and to include it in a document.

3. Advertising and consent services

Production versions of Hang Invoice use the AppLovin MAX software development kit (SDK) to request and display native advertisements. AppLovin may work with advertisers, ad networks, measurement providers, and other advertising partners.

AppLovin and its partners may automatically collect or receive technical information, depending on your device settings, region, consent choices, and the partners serving an ad. This may include:

  • device make, model, operating system, display, and other device properties;
  • app installation, session, performance, and interaction information;
  • IP address, country, time zone, locale, and network connection information;
  • Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and related advertising preferences; and
  • advertisement requests, impressions, clicks, and other ad interaction data.

This information may be used to deliver ads, personalize ads when permitted, measure ad performance, produce analytics and reporting, prevent fraud, protect security, and improve advertising services. AppLovin may share or combine this information as described in its own policy. Hang Invoice does not set an AppLovin publisher user ID and does not provide customer contact details or invoice contents to the advertising SDK.

Hang Invoice uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) through AppLovin's consent flow in applicable regions. The flow may store your consent state on your device and communicate it to AppLovin and participating advertising partners. Where required, ads are requested subject to the consent choices presented to you. You may still receive non-personalized or contextual advertising after limiting personalization.

4. Sharing and disclosure

Sharing initiated by you

When you choose to share, save, or print a generated PDF, Hang Invoice gives the file to the Android system and the destination you select. That destination may be another app, an email or messaging provider, a printer service, or a storage provider. Its own terms and privacy policy govern what happens after you select it. Hang Invoice cannot confirm delivery or delete copies held by that destination or a recipient.

Advertising providers

Technical and advertising data is disclosed to AppLovin and may be disclosed by AppLovin to its advertising, measurement, and service partners. Those parties may act as independent controllers and may process information in countries other than yours. Their practices and international-transfer safeguards are described in their policies.

Legal and organizational events

We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or security issues, or protect our rights. If responsibility for Hang Invoice is transferred through a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale, information under our control may transfer subject to this policy and applicable law.

This page contains no analytics scripts, advertising code, or cookies. A provider used to host the published page may process basic request logs such as IP address, browser type, and request time under that provider's own policy.

5. Retention, deletion, and security

Local app data remains on your device until you edit or remove it where the app offers that action, clear Hang Invoice's storage through Android settings, or uninstall the app. Some business records cannot currently be deleted individually within the app. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for Hang Invoice data.

Generated PDFs are temporarily created in the app's cache. Android or Hang Invoice may remove cached files, but a copy you save, share, print, or send remains wherever you or the receiving service placed it until it is deleted there.

Hang Invoice relies on Android's app sandbox and device security controls to protect local information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your device with a screen lock, install security updates, and share documents only with intended recipients.

Advertising providers determine retention for information they process. AppLovin states that information collected through its advertising services is generally retained for limited periods, typically up to two years, subject to legal, security, and deletion requirements. Consult AppLovin's current policy for details.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

  • Local records: review and edit information using the app where an edit action is available. To remove all local information, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.
  • Sharing: do not invoke the share, save, or print action if you do not want a PDF disclosed to another service.
  • Consent choices: in regions where the option applies, open Hang Invoice Settings and select Manage privacy choices to revisit advertising consent choices.
  • Android advertising controls: use your device's privacy settings to delete or reset the advertising ID and manage ad privacy options. Instructions vary by Android version and device manufacturer.
  • AppLovin data: follow the methods under “Manage Your Privacy Choices” in the AppLovin Privacy Policy, including its Privacy Management Application for information linked to your advertising identifier.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, to withdraw consent, or to receive a portable copy. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy or data-protection authority. These rights can be subject to exceptions under applicable law.

Because core Hang Invoice records remain only on your device, we do not have a server-side copy to access, correct, export, or delete for you. 7. Children's privacy

Hang Invoice is intended for adults and business use. It is not directed to children, and children as defined by applicable law must not use the app. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information or knowingly use AppLovin services in connection with a child. If you believe a child has used the app or encountered an advertisement in it, contact us so we can review the concern.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Hang Invoice's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the “Last updated” date and, when required, provide additional notice or request consent. Review this page periodically for changes.
